Ok so we have been talking for a while and today I ran out of led and he took my pencil and put led in it.but it was to big and didn’t fit so he asked his friends if they had a pencil and they did an he gave it to me.and he asked me who I liked and when I told him he looked kind of sad because they were all mexicans.and he was like why come u don’t like white ppl lol and I said well I do like one..and he said tell me!in a excited voice.oh yeah and at the end of the day I was walking to my locker and then I turned to my side and he was literally shoulder to shoulder beside me and he was like see I knew you were stalking me.but we have this joke about that, and plUs he ran and came to. me when he saw me.btw he is really nice and sweet.so what do you think about him?and it seems like he’s everywhere well because we have slot of classes and he’s is just so nice to me.I like him and he is really flirty he always ask me who I like

What does it mean when a guy is really loud around everyone else except you ? Like his friends & other girls . For example , he’ll be really perverted & loud around everyone else but gets really shy when he’s alone with you & laughs sorta nervously . Also is it bad if you ask a guy to walk you to class or should he just have done it ? Will he say yes just to not be mean or cause he likes you ? But if he didn’t like you wouldn’t he make up an excuse ?

Low IQ & Conservative Beliefs Linked to Prejudice
There’s no gentle way to put it: People who give in to racism and prejudice may simply be dumb, according to a new study that is bound to stir public controversy.
The research finds that children with low intelligence are more likely to hold prejudiced attitudes as adults. These findings point to a vicious cycle, according to lead researcher Gordon Hodson, a psychologist at Brock University in Ontario. Low-intelligence adults tend to gravitate toward socially conservative ideologies, the study found. Those ideologies, in turn, stress hierarchy and resistance to change, attitudes that can contribute to prejudice, Hodson wrote in an email to LiveScience.
“Prejudice is extremely complex and multifaceted, making it critical that any factors contributing to bias are uncovered and understood,” he said.
Controversy ahead
The findings combine three hot-button topics.
“They’ve pulled off the trifecta of controversial topics,” said Brian Nosek, a social and cognitive psychologist at the University of Virginia who was not involved in the study. “When one selects intelligence, political ideology and racism and looks at any of the relationships between those three variables, it’s bound to upset somebody.”

“The unique contribution here is trying to make some progress on the most challenging aspect of this,” Nosek said, referring to the new study. “It’s not that a relationship like that exists, but why it exists.”
Brains and bias
Earlier studies have found links between low levels of education and higher levels of prejudice, Hodson said, so studying intelligence seemed a logical next step. The researchers turned to two studies of citizens in the United Kingdom, one that has followed babies since their births in March 1958, and another that did the same for babies born in April 1970. The children in the studies had their intelligence assessed at age 10 or 11; as adults ages 30 or 33, their levels of social conservatism and racism were measured. In the first study, verbal and nonverbal intelligence was measured using tests that asked people to find similarities and differences between words, shapes and symbols. The second study measured cognitive abilities in four ways, including number recall, shape-drawing tasks, defining words and identifying patterns and similarities among words. Average IQ is set at 100.
Social conservatives were defined as people who agreed with a laundry list of statements such as “Family life suffers if mum is working full-time,” and “Schools should teach children to obey authority.” Attitudes toward other races were captured by measuring agreement with statements such as “I wouldn’t mind working with people from other races.” (These questions measured overt prejudiced attitudes, but most people, no matter how egalitarian, do hold unconscious racial biases; Hodson’s work can’t speak to this “underground” racism.)
As suspected, low intelligence in childhood corresponded with racism in adulthood. But the factor that explained the relationship between these two variables was political: When researchers included social conservatism in the analysis, those ideologies accounted for much of the link between brains and bias.
People with lower cognitive abilities also had less contact with people of other races.
“This finding is consistent with recent research demonstrating that intergroup contact is mentally challenging and cognitively draining, and consistent with findings that contact reduces prejudice,” said Hodson, who along with his colleagues published these results online Jan. 5 in the journal Psychological Science.

I’m always shocked when I hear a Christian talking about how ridiculous other religions are. Sometimes they mock Hinduism for it’s amazing assortment of gods in a variety of different incarnations, or they talk about how “crazy” Buddhism is. They even go so far as to label some religions as “evil”.
But I wonder – Do they realise how absurd some of their beliefs sound to us non-believers?
In particular I’m talking about fundamentalists, who actually believe the world is only a few thousand years old, and that God flooded the earth saving only a few animals crammed into a boat.
On the other hand you have those who try to rationalise it saying that a lot of the Bible is metaphor. Those people are almost worse, just clinging to the last remnants of a defunct belief.

Sooo, I’m moving to Columbia in 3 days and are there any animals like spiders walking there WILD? Like not in somebody‘s house? I’m just kinda intrested…

I’m a goalkeeper and struggle diving to my left. I can do it, but usually it’s reflex. I tend to turn my whole body around after diving left. I’ve made some terrific saves diving right and left, but I don’t feel comfortable diving left. Any help?

Few months ago there is a guy asked my phone number on the street.
He walked pass by me, turned back to stopped me ,,Hey you are beautiful, can you give me your number?,, it was the first sentence from his mouth. He was not joking, looking nervous. We talked a bit on the street. I gave him my number.
We text-ed for 2 weeks then he lost his phone,
one day he text-ed me with new number ,,I lost my phone, who is it?,, I ignored it. Then he found me in Facebook. (I checked his Facebook, he seems pretty normal, even his grandfather was in his Facebook, have normal friends. Seems not like stalker, weirdo…etc)
Then we dated two times. It was fun but I didn’t find him very attractive.
Then I got busy. He kept asking me to come out to drink with him but I had no time.
Now he is visiting his friend in another country for 4 weeks. He”s sending me facebook messages about once in a week and I don’t understand it.
He is not asking me a question or asking me how I am doing.
He sends me like “so you like that huh?” “your new pic is so hot!”
I don’t know how to answer him.
Does he like me or is it just a meaningless message? I mean it’s weird that he is sending me just about once a week when I’m almost going to forget about him.
What does he want?
Does it mean something if a guy keeps sending a private messages for any special reason?

People I know are making jokes but the truth is i loved my fish!
